Bridgestone FEEDBACK
Bridgestone Rear Battlax BT45V 150/70V-18 Blackwall Tire

have a hard time finding a tired to fit my rim,
only 3 brands but I like the tread on this one, only cause I cant find the HD one anywhere,,,,
so if anyone had tried this tire I could use some feenback,
have a avon on the bike now and its cracking around the rim and bead,
called avon and they said the bike is to heavy,,i don't thik it is but that's just my opinion,,,,

Mike, tyres come with different load ratings, so a tyre made for a lightweight bike won't be suitable for a heavyweight bike like a Harley. You don't mention what year and model bike you have, but the lowest rating for a rear Harley tyre is 74, with recent tyres more likely to be 77 or higher. A more suitable Avon might be their current Cobra AV72 150/70B18, which has a load rating of 76 and is bias ply.
As for choosing tyres, I always check the manufacturer's website first, before looking at dealer's websites. That way you should get more dependable info and email them if you need more. Intriguingly I can't see that BT45 on the Bridgestone site!
