Yes, you can 
No downside to the 90/90-21, that slight vague wandering feel the front will have over more grooved road surfaces is gone, the bike has a more stable planted feel. And the 90/90 fills in the front fender better so they look great, too.
Pirelli Night Dragons are the only tires I run on a heavy cruiser, my Wide Glides have loved them.
