Really liking the 888 Metzler on my FLD, Getting better tire life than ever with them. They handle fine and I've had no problems with them.

ME 880 compaired to ME888

I need to replace my rear tire Metzler ME880. Hard to find the exact tire. Is the ME888 the new version of the ME880? I should be good using the ME888 for the replacement then.

Yes, the ME888 replaces the ME880. You can check the Metzeler website for the correct tyres for your bike.

Good rubber, I use them along with Avons,last round was Metzlers ,stole em forr the price.This time Avons were the better deal so I went with them but they are the only 2 brands I've been running after the stock Dunlops went south. Your good with Metzlers. I will say that i dont get great mileage with them due to my riding style and the roads are composed of shell rock in FL and premature wear results but still great rubber IMO...........................ymmv
