Loose Spokes
05 FXDWGI replaced rear tire & tube along with the wheel bearings all spokes were good. Bike runs smooth up to 90 mph notice front tire is cupping my ?? is why do I allways have a couple loose spokes on the rear. I can snug them all up and be good to go and go for a ride then come back and go back into shop I hear a click (spoke') sure as sh@t a couple loose spokes .WTF PUT up on jack stand rotate tire and it tracks true lateral and horizonital .Any input, the indy wants $200 to re-true wheel

The guy that tightened my spokes bled the air out first, used a spoke torque wrench and went around tightening every 4th spoke until he got them all done. 1st pass on one side, then other side, then start again on 1st side with second spoke until done.

if you are chasing spokes, it is time to go rogue!!! remove tire and jig the wheel and loosen all spokes and then true the wheel. once true, go around and tighten each one 1/4>1/2 turn till all the spokes ring.
i had a suzuki that never would keep tight spokes till the above was done.

The dealer I bought my first Harley from routinely checked and trued a wheel when doing a tyre change. I agree with bustert, go back to basics. I don't believe a wheel can be reliably trued with a tyre on the rim. If you get repeated problems then get your wheel rebuilt. Hopefully your indy will strip the wheel, replace all spokes and rebuild for that money.
