Hello I have a 2013 Softail and I am in desperate need of a rear tire it's worn all the way down to the wires! 😂
just wondering what type of tire I should buy what do you guys recommend?? I'm looking for cheap!
Thank you very much I appreciate the information!
Shiny Side Up !
I think Shinko is about the least expensive tire, but I've read that they don't last nearly as long as more expensive tires like Dunlop, Michelin, Avon and Metzler.
Your life is depending on only 2 tires, it's not like a car where you may have wiggle room with a blowout. When it comes to tires and brake pads, cheap is not my goal. But when I figure out which one is the best for me I will shop for the best price.
Thou shalt not run a tire down to the wires without having a replacement on hand, especially at prime riding season.
Take the tire size from the sidewall and use that in your internet search if you want to try to go on the cheap. Or just go to a dealership. At least one near me has free installation with the price of the tire.
