Default Balance with Bearings?

Purchased chromed 28 spoke knuckle wheels and new tires to replace stock. Do I need to install bearings and axle tubes in the wheels to have the shop mount and balance the new tires? Planning to replace this winter but first time removing and want to have everything prepared prior to the swap. I was not planning to remove the old then disassemble and take to shop but have everything at the ready. If I need additional axle tubes, so be it. Thanks!

Axle tubes? Are you talking about the spacer? If so, then yes. You Need both bearings and the spacer installed for a dynamic balancer. Mounting the wheel on the balancer tightens the axle assembly and needs to have the bearings installed with spacer in order to simulate the rotating assembly most accurately represented to the motorcycle.

Yes the spacer would be what I meant. Kind of what I thought but wanted real world experience of which I'm learning ?. Thanks
