Hello, I bought some after Market aluminum billet rims, they are real nice , got them real cheap, trying to install and the hubs where the brake rotor goes is 2.5" , the 5 bolt holes line up and I can screw in until it hits the hub lip. One guy said he could shave them down for a hundred each. Can not find 2.5" hub hole rotors anywhere. Any thoughts. Hub
That's quite a bit of clearance even for a 2.500 hole in the rotor bore. What is the bore size in your rotor?
I think your hub is for a 63MM bored rotor. Be sure to check your bearings to axle size before investing in having someone turn that in a lathe to fit. A smaller shop may give you a better price. That's just a few minutes to grab it in a 6 jaw chuck and turn it to fit your rotors.
Just don't press them for time.
As a new member, let me also say welcome, and hope to see your completed project on here. Not many build in this way. However, I spent my 46 year career in the machine shop world.
Only as a suggestion, make your next new post over in the new member welcome area to say hello.

Why they were cheap so to speak, not just cost. I would go with the shaving as thats going to be easier to do since you havent found any rotors? Hopefully this is more helpful than previous answer.
