Arlen Ness Wheel Chrome Quality Issues
I've done a lot of work on my bike in the last year, and I have thousands in Arlen Ness parts (entire floorboards and foot control kit, mirrors, brake calipers, and Procross Wheels - 18" fat front and 18" rear). I've had the wheels for about a year, probably rode less than 500 miles in only agreeable weather, and today I noticed the chrome on the wheels was starting to crack and flake off.
My bike is over 10 years old with factory chrome that still looks new - but the wheels are the newest chrome addition, cracking, and peeling already.
I purchased the wheels from Rotation Wheels and will be calling Arlen Ness and Rotation Wheels on Monday. Just curious as to others' experiences in the interim.
