Old tires?
now that is funny.
as far as rv tires, they are a diff animal. rv mfg puts junk on their trailers as i have had several and tire brand make a BIG diff!!!!
i had a forest river trailer that was nearly in over load from the factory. do not forget that the rim is weight rated also and mine were 200 pounds over stressed. also trailer tires are ST tires are speed rated and WHO follows that?????
every tire on that trailer failed early with sever damage to the trailer since the idiots who designed the unit did not put protection pans in the wheel wells and one tire pulled out the entire electrical wiring that was above the plastic splash panel.
i put 10 ply tires and put in grating on the wheel wells. BTW: weight distribution between the two axles was off.
as far as i am concerned, All rv's are like caskets. beautiful to look at but built with trash. i drove an 18 wheeler and went into the batesville casket factory and i will tell you this, buy a metal casket since wood ones are basically pallet material.
as far as tires, i smoked one in a little over 3k miles, most of my mc tires never make the 5k mark. a ball bearing tire does not stand a chance on my machine, i can bust traction at 70mph on a wet road. i like the english tire with full width traction.
