In 2024, I purchased a used 2023 Heritage Classic 114 Black/Gold (Stage 2). I did not realize the stock spoke wheels have tubes. I'm looking for suggestions for a tubeless wheel for both front and back. I'm reducing the chrome footprint on the bike, so the replacement mag or fat spoke would be all black. I never owned a bike with tubed tires, so I'm a bit concerned about a roadside flat tire with NO OPTION for a temporary repair. I don't need a custom cut wheel. I need a reliable wheel that does not require a winning lottery ticket to purchase. Please steer me with recommendations or comments. Thanks.
I had one in the northern Maine wilderness in the middle of nowhere on a solo trip to Canada years back, picked up a nail. Had a plug kit and a tiny Slime compressor, took all of 10 minutes to locate the nail, pull it, plug the tire, air up and back on the road. I'd never take a trip like that with tubed tires. But can't speak for anyone else.

FWIW if you live or travel in an area that has had a disaster (firestorm, hurricane, flood, etc.) the demolition and later reconstruction will mean LOTS of nails in the road and occasional flats...dealt with that locally for a few years after multiple fires, especially the big Tubbs fire
My tubeless bikes made this much easier to deal with.
