Default Front brake reservoir relocation?

Is there any way to relocate the front brake reservoir to get it off the handle bars? I notice a lot of custom choppers don't have this so was wondering how that is accomplished?

Well some if not alot of custom choppers have no front brake. If they do have a front brake, its sometimes hooked into the rear brake system and run through a proportioning valve. Sort of like a car system. Problem with that is if you get a leak, you have no brakes. One other system I have seen is the front brake is applied by rotating the throttle forward. I am not sure where the master cylinder is located because these systems are way to expensive for my taste so I have never checked them out thoroughly.

thanks for the info - that really surprises me that a lot of choppers don't use front brakes...that seems silly stupid to me.

Guess I was hoping there was some way to put that reservoir inside the handlebars MacGyver-style .

I am sure there is a way. I have seen many Bikes with oil in the frame instead of an oil tank. So putting brake fluid in the handlebars is possible with the right machine work.

The problem is the reservoir has to be above the master cylinder bore be cause it fed by gravity. Because of this it has to be above the bars.
