Having a Blade wheel with the swirl pattern in one direction but the stock rotor on the 07 fxstc have the swirl or cutouts going the opposite direction looks kinda fruity. Now the stock rotor has LEFT stamped on it. Not sure if the cutouts direction really have any effect on rotor strength but if I could get a right rotor and put it on the left, the wheel and rotor patterns will match. Since (left) is stamped on it, there must be some dual rotor bikes that use the exact same rotor. Anybody know, and better still have a part number?
Another meaningless observation is that using a rear rotor will, when put on the front will give the right pattern. Here's the kicker. The bolts are much bigger in the rear rotor. Why is that when 60-70% of braking occurs in the front, why have smaller rotor bolts?
