I just bought a 2000 FLHT electra glide. It has stock Dunlaps on it now with spoked rims. What brand(s) should I consider replacing them with. I am not impressed with the Dunlaps.
I ride on Mt roads with lots of curves as well as the highway. So I want tires that are somewhat sticky.
All thoughts welcom as I am a newby to Harleys.....
Thanks
i find the Metzler's are better in the curves than the stock Dunlop's. It seems easier to lean and holds a line well. also better in rain grooves and bridge expansion joints which we have a lot of around here.
I got 10K out of the first 2 Dunlop's on my 08 Ultra. Only have 2K on the Metzler rear so I am not sure of tread life. From what I hear it is about the same.
