Default Metzeler 100/90 -19 fit 90/90-19?

I have harley 2009 FXCW (Rocker) std front tire size is 90/90 F19. I want to change tires from harley std to Metzeler. But for front wheel in 19" size in ME 880 can get 100/90H- 19. Will this fit my bike?.

Have np with Back wheel ME 880 240/40/18 and would like to have same brand on both wheels.

The new tire is 90 MM wide, ( 90 % of 100.) The old tire is 81 MM wide, ( 90% of 90.) Do you habe 4 1/2 MM to spare on either side? If you do then you're good to go!

I said that backwards!!! Your tire is 100 mm wide vs 90. The 90% relates to the height of the tire. Please adjust for my mis-speak! ( You have 5 mm on either side to contend with..)

I have the ME880 100/90/19 on my bike. It looks great, follows the road better. Doesn't follow grooves in the road, handles much better!!!!

In theory your 90/90 is 81mm, as Stiggy said, while a 100/90 is 90mm high, or about 3/8" taller, that is a total increase in rolling diameter of 3/4". However these nominal sizes are not always exact. You should check on Metzeler's website for rolling diameters of the two, for their more precise data.
