Default DOT4 v DOT3?

Is there any particular reason why I shouldn't use dot3 and opt for dot4 other than a slightly higher boiling point?

DOT 4 Is a little better also for not collecting as much moisture

Keep 3 and 4 away from paint. DOT 5 is synthetic....it's ok

Default Wait!

You might not want to mix different types of brake fluid without first checking to make sure there compatible. I'm not sure about DOT 3 + 4 but I know your not supposed to mix DOT 5 with anything else. Bad thing happen, so I've been told.

mixing dot 3/4 are fine... stay away from adding 5... you can add 5.1 but will dilute the higher boiling point.
