Default DynaBeads...Do they work? Alternatives?

Until I came here to the Forum I'd never heard of these self balancing (?) Dynabeads (sp?) wheel balancing product. I haven't changed my own tires for years because there's been no way to balance wheels properly without a balancing machine. So it's been 2 rears and one front tire every year and $25 times 3 tires plus the 20 mile ride to the bike shop, rtc.
How do they work, (or any product I may not be aware of,) as advertised. Thanks for the help!

I LOVE my Dyna Beads. They work great. They clean up your rims (no fugly wheel weights) and are super easy to install.

I don't fit my own tyres because they are tubeless and a bitch to get on without spoiling the beads. I take the wheels out and get them fitted and balanced. Wheel weights don't bother me.

Google 'dyna beads' to find their website and learn more about them.

Wheel weights never bothered me either until I lost one..changed over to Dyna beads and am very pleased..They appear to be tiny ceramic beads and there is a chart on their web site on how much to use..I think that I put 1 ounce in each tire..They work..

www.innovativebalancing.com unless you can find them locally....tip...order enough for 2 or 3 rears and 1 front...if you order only enough for 1 tire change you will say "****" i should've ordered more....ask me how i know....By the way i still use my wheel weights...i don't care about the weights i don't see them when i am on the bike....i figure if i have both the weights and beads ...so that is why it must be so smooth...My Indy installs my tires for $20 so it isn't that expenzive to do like 2-3 times a year.

okay - I am ready to get flamed. I have ALWAYS changed all my own tires. I have never wrecked a bead doing it. I have never had a motorcycle tire balanced. Every time I change one, I tell myself that if I notice any handling issues, I will take the wheel in to be balanced. I have NEVER had to do that, and I have been changing tires since 1970. I have never used any Dynabeads or slime. Bring it on folks. I can take it.
