I have a 04 Sportster and I'm trying to remove move the rear break pad pin. Bought breaks and pin, grabed my 3/16in allen tool and presto smasho I stripped the head out........How do I remove the pin with out jacking up the caliper??? any helpful hints to remove this?? I was told an easy-out and I'm sure that will work but the pin seems to be really torqued down.
Another option you could try is to take a Hex socket and a ball peen hammer. Pound it in their and then tap on the socket a little more to "loosen" the stuck bolt, then wala....it should come out.
