Default ? Rim size/year interchanges?

Hello I have a question about rims from one bike to another. Will the rear rim off a 99 Harley Davidson Road King fit the 1995 Harley Davidson Road King? Part Brand: Harley Manufacturer Part Number: 4357-02-021
and/or will the 1994 94 Harley HD sportster XL 883 rear wheel rear rim 16x3.00 fit the 1995 Road King

I'm not sure about the Sportster wheel. Recent Sporty wheels are different to dresser wheels, but I don't know if that was so in the mid 90s.

As for the RK wheels, if the 99 has tapered roller bearings it should fit. Around model year 2000 (which could include late 1999 bikes) Harley went to sealed ball races. Those wheels are not a direct swap.

Hey thanks for the info. Graham. I have been doing a lot of searching for a good/cheap rim and have located a few that I will have to make sure fit before bidding on. I am looking to just get rid of the spoked rims and will lower myself to riding with mis matched rims for a while..just gotta ride though. Have a good day.

Default Can anyone help verify if one of these will fit?

I am trying to replace the spoked rim on my 1995 FLHR and found these:

1997 Harley Davidson FXDL Dyna Low Rider:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/130392229247...84.m1436.l2649

1999 Harley Davidson FLHR Road King:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/130733195821...84.m1436.l2649

1999 Harley Davidson FXDX Dyna Super Glide Sport:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/190693765745...84.m1436.l2649

If there is adapter kits available to make them fit without a whole lot of extra expence please let me know. I am very mechanically inclined just a little new to working on a motorcycle and don't have much knowledge on whats available and interchangeable on them yet. Any advice/help info is always excepted and appreciated.

I'm not too sure what look you're going for, but if you're just in the market for some original looking spokes you can go to a company called KC International. They have a great product at a great price. Regular shipping only took a week. I went with the Mammoth spoke on my 95 FLH with 16x3.5 rear and 21x3.00 front. Bolted right up using my original brakes, sprocket, and axles.

Hi,

I was hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction. I have a 92 flstc and I want to change the rims out to a full cast rim "fatboy". I believe a stock fatboy rim 99 and older will fit perfect without any modifications, but all the charts I've seen showing rim sizes all start from 2000 & up. I have spent many hours online and have looked through my manual and can't find anything about the sizes. Any help would be appreciated. I am thinking of powdercoating based on the new paint scheme, so I don't want to spend a lot of money (I was gonna go used) because I'm not looking at expensive new chrome rims.

Thanks for any input.
