Just finishing buttoning up everything used rotors off 06 Street Glide. used reducers in the bearings 25mm to 3/4. I had to grind down my spacers from my stock axle to right under an inch.
It seems like the dealership says "NO" too often without really knowing. And this one would have been easy for them... the parts book is right in front of them (or maybe to the side or in back of them...lol)
I found bearings for 20 bucks on ebay and brand name All *****.
And someone earlier said the 25 millimeter is smaller than 1 inch it's actually bigger it's 1.400.
Hey Red, check your math again... 25mm is smaller than 1" by .016 (.4mm}
25mm = .984"
25.4mm = 1.00"
Also "just saying", technically you lost some brake efficiency when you used 2000-up rotors with 99-down calipers, because the pads aren't contacting the inner radius of the rotor. But it may be no big deal to you or a lot of people.

How is the pad not contacting?? Its the same diameter and thickness. I'm just putting this out here. Im no engineer or mathematician, and by my spelling and grammar no English major either lol.
Yes the rotors are the same diameter, but the brake pad area on the 2000-up rotors has been reduced along with the pad's height reduction (top to bottom looking from the side of the bike) compared to the 1999-down. If your 2000-up rotors are "USED" it should be easy to see. Look at the existing wear pattern created by the previous 2000-up calipers/pads, now look at where your 99-dn pads are riding. the 99-dn pads extend into the curved slots in the inner part of the 2000-up rotors. whereas original 2000-up pads being shorter/wider rode above those slots. When the pads are riding over the open slots, that surface area of pads is doing nothing to aid your braking.
i hope that makes sense. if not, i'll try to find pics later.
