Ok, found a 21" front spoke wheel for my Fatboy..Its a black factory 21x2 and they can not tell me what year its off.. the owner of the place said he doesnt have an axle to measure the bearing size but the inner race on the bearing is 0.981".. I need a 25mm for my 09.. Anyway, can anyone tell me if theres a way other tahn buying it and hoping it fits?
Not to discourage you but if you are keeping the same front end but just want a 21" wheel you should be looking for a 21 x 3.5 wheel. It is wider and will fill the fork better and will allow you to keep the stock fender w/out it overpowering the wheel. Several vendors offer a front fender adaptor to lift the fender for proper clearance when doing this.
We have done a few 21 x 3.5 on FLSTF bikes and they have turned out very nice.

biggest issue I have is Im not willing to spend $1000 on 1 wheel.. Ultima and DNA have the 3.5" but it looks like spring before I can get one..Ive tried a few vendors and they wont have them anytime soon..
I have a deluxe fender on there too, so I wont have to make any adjustments on it..
