Default Problem with spokes. Help needed!

Hello, I had recently purchased some fat 52 spoke wheels and had the custom shop send them out to paint in black (oven, very high temperature).
Unfortunately, the heat has melted the attachments on the spokes on the inner side of the wheel. The shop is telling me that it's a small detail (not important) and has suggested to put an air tube...Can anyone tell me if this is indeed a minor issue or will it be a major problem with the wheel?
I will appreciate your feedback with this situation.

Contact the manufacturer of the wheels?
