Default 06 SG Rear Wheel

I got an 06 Street Glide with a 21" contrast cut front wheel on the way. I am in need of a stock rear wheel (got chrome spokes on it now). Anyone got a stock wheel that will fit a 06 SG for sale? Otherwise I was wondering if a stock rear wheel from an 09+ would fit my bike? I know the offset is different but I can not find a definite answer anywhere. Any help would be great! Thanks

Rear wheels from '09 up are 5" wide and will not fit under your fender. The wider rear wheels came with the frame change in '09.. Any touring wheel from '99 - '08 will fit; they are 16" x 3" wheels but the axle diameter changed from 1" to 25mm, so if you were to use an earlier model wheel, you would need to replace the 1" wheel bearings with the 25mm bearings. Fronts and rears are identical except that the pulley fasteners for the rear are 7/16" and the rotor fasteners are 3/8". The front rotor fasteners are 5/16" so you can use a front on the rear if you drill/tap the rotor/pulley thread bosses to 7/16".

Further to djl's reply, the current wheels take tyres that are significantly wider than your bike's fender! A 150 tyre will fit in your bike if you have the 1 1/8" belt, a 160 can be squeezed in, but it is not a bolt in.

Any wheel with 1" bearings from around 2000-2007 will fit.
