Default Wheel alignment and rotor wear

I have an 03 sportster, recently ive noticed a rubbing sound in the breaks each revolution the wheel makes. I changed the pads and no I am thinking the rotor may be warped or wheel is out of alignment. Has anyone ever experienced this noise or know what I should look to do next? Thank you

It could be either or. I had a faint scrape on mine when I had a spoke wheel on the front. Little scrape is no big deal as long as you cannot fill it when spinning wheel. When changing pad, slip pads out. Then slide in some piece of shims (I use hardboard) slightly thinner then the old pads. Apply the brakes to expel the pistons slightly further out (be careful ..not too far) . Now shoe shine the pistons till spotless. Now push pistons back with master open and most of the fluid removed. This will help prevent pushing dirty pistons back in a making them tight in the caliper. Replace with clean fluid and bleed a few cylinder fulls thru the caliper. If you have a lot of drag and the rotors indicate straight (dial indicator from Harbor Freight) you may have to put new kits in the caliper. Be sure to use the caliper piston grease called out by Harley or a equal. Not sure when they started this since breaks use to just say lubricate with brake fluid but Harley and Hondas call for a grease.
