Both the Dempster and the Haul Road all the way to the ends... a nice little 8,000 mile rounder... might have to keep those big knobby tires on for this one... both of those roads can get some greasy.

... on the way back down, Rocky Mountains in the background... it was late in the day, and I did not go to the top that time... I was the last person on the mountain, and did not want to walk out if I got a flat...

.. heading up to the Grey Creek Pass on my GS... the nice thing about Jesse's is that they make a great seat when you get a flat tire, which I had... Don was ahead of me, and waited at the top... but I had those stupid CO2 canisters, and one blew up in my hand... So I got as much air in the tire as I could, about 10lbs, and then hobbled back out to the highway as I was not heading up there without a flat repair kit. I got a very good hand pump from a Bicycle shop after that, and still carry it.

... here is Don and I playing in the mud with his Chiness motorcyce and hack that he imported from china... that was a fun day... what you cannot see is the big log below the water line that kept us from going forward... it took a bit of work to extract us from that mud hole...

... this is the top of Grey Creek pass, between Kimberley and Kootenay lake... a bunch of it is 1st gear road, but I have also taken a K-car over it... this was the ride I decided to buy a GS, as I could not keep up with Don on the rough road... when he could go through Potholes, I had to go around them... not enough suspension in the Buell...
