Took my time doing this project and finished it up today. Can't ride yet since I am also in the middle of a engine rebuild. Had a few complications like removing the tranny sprocket nut, installing the same sprocket due to tight clearances, but it is finished. Here are a few pics.

I tried. Went yesterday to the dealership to get one but they didn't have it in stock. No worries. I have spent enough money and I like having some black still.

I'm with ya on the black. I paid for wrinkle black so let it show!!
Now, how much $$$ do you think you saved by doing this job yourself? Makes ya feel good eh?
I never checked on an install price. DI75 knows a indy that will do it for around $400. Most places are between $600-$800. I wanted to do it myself to learn. The first time is always the hardest, next time will be easier.
