Default 98 inch dyno results

I have been gathering as many dyno results from customers as I can here is the latest

98 inch kit 9.7.1
New 37g Cam
My stage I heads
SERT tuner
SE A/C
Stock T/B

The first pulls where very disa pointing, the bike ran good to 3500 and then fell like a stone.
45 hp and 91 tq at 2700
Pipes where Big radius , They where removed and swapped for the stock head pipe and SEII slip ons. Then retuned

Now here are peak numbers 91hp and 108 TQ
With 100 even at 2500 and the tq staying above 100 until 4500
Hp was good with a larger t/b the hp numbers could be increased. But this is a street build and very basic at that. But with that kind of tq and such a flat curve why?? This thing is a stump puller.

I have built 95 that could do this but not even close in the money department ( over 1000 more than the 98 inch ket), with a huge cam, ( noise also) roller rockers, adjustable pushrods, big valve springs, 800+ in the heads, larger T/B and large a/c set up.

I will get the sheet scanned and uploaded later today. Talk about bang for your buck. Also these kits are being installed by the every day guy with basic tools for the most part.

Have a great day

HD,
You are changing my mind about the Big Radius pipes.
It seems simple slip-ons kick their butts.
Have you had any experience with V&H big shots with the "power chamber", and it's effects on HP. If not, what 2 into 2 do you recommend for an EFI 95" er..
Again, thank you for your insight.

Nice. What would that setup cost approx? I like the sound of an everyday guy doing the install. I like to do my own work/maintenance on my bike but I'm by no means a mechanic.

I'm a carpenter so you know what that means. If all else fails get the hammer out

I am also curious about the results if using V&H Bigshot pipes. Do they pose a problem if this kit is used?

I don't understand why the bike fell off that much even with the differnt pipes, could it be that the setup was just that far off, now don't get me wrong because I know that your the man when it comes to engines and I'm not questioning that but your talking about 45 hp difference in pipes, and I sorta know because I sold my Rineharts and put the stock system back on and went to slipons and gained power but then I have been told that it was just my setup was wrong, I guess my question is could you have gained more if you would have spent more time with the big radius pipes?
