Default FYI Digital oil temp/level stick

In a previous thread I read where some where having trouble getting accurate reading on the LCD digital oil stick....It seems according to the instructions correct oil level readings are made in the 161 degree range. I have observed that in the 160 to 185 degree range that the oil level is accurate ( when compared to actual stick readings)and anything above that the LCD reads "high oil".....I think the temp. reading is always accurate. May not be of much interest to most here, but thought I would pass along my experience with this product.

Default RE: FYI Digital oil temp/level stick

I just bought one for my FLHTC but have yet to stick it in the hole. All I want is the oiltemp information. I check my oil religiously and would never rely on some gimmick to indicate oil level.
