1. Your Oak Lawn HD link is incorrect. Here is an updated one, but I can't find anything on the website that says they give a 20% discount, so delete Oak Lawn HD

2. Benji"s HD link does not work. Benji's HD has been changed to Charlie's Harley Davidson Here is the new link http://www.charlieshd.com/default.asp BUT I see nothing on the website that gives a 20% discount on HD parts & accessories, so delete Benji's.

3. Did NOT see anything on Hales HD website that offers any kind of a discount, so delete Hales HD link

4. Your Chesapeak HD link is incorrect. Here is an updated one http://www.chesapeakehd.com/ HOWEVER, only offers 10% discount to certain personnel: Police Officers, Fire & Rescue, and Active Military. Offers 15% off for only "boots, helmets, gloves" for those who took a 2009 Motorcycle Safety Course.

Update on Hale's H-D - find a part in their P & A link, and there you will see that prices are 20% off MSRP. I assume that if you follow links to the other sites, you will find the same or similar discount. Nothing on Hale's site says '20% off,' you just have to order a part to get the discount.

Further, some of links are not dealerships. For example, M&M, Discount Cycle are not.

 

If I made a mistake, I stand corrected, BUT if you have an update, kindly post it on here for all to take advantage of.

There might be legal reasons why dealer web sites do not say 20% off on parts. Only when a part is ordered through their web site is the discount given. For example, Hale's shows their online price when you select them as your online dealer in your H-D online profile. Only when the part is a big ticket item, say more than $100, does the discount benefit the buyer since total cost has to include shipping costs which are rarely less than $10. Some dealer will give 10 or 15% off on their sale days.

I was shopping around for the Big Bore kit for my 88. Cheaper than buying a 96, anyway I saw your posting about HD Dealers and Discounts. LakeShore HD is the BEST Period. I have bought thousands of dollars of stuff from them and never had a problem. As a matter of fact I ordered a solo seat studded for my FLHRCI and the stitching looked funny to me. I think it's Eric he said no problem if you don't like it I will send you another and pay the shipping back. After I got of the floor I was hooked. Nothing but Good things from them. I just shopped the 95 BB kit $639.00 best discount I could find was $543.00 LSHD1 was $511.96 SOLD !!

Just wanted to pass that along. I got tired of having to tell my local dealers I was a Fireman or Officer to get a 10% dicount, Now I get 20% everything. Who's your Daddy..

Harley Davidson dealers are no longer allowed to advertise "sales" or "discounts" for merchandise/parts in any way, whether it be in publications, websites, or even in-store handouts. This was announced at our last HOG chapter meeting. They can still sell at discount, just can't advertise it.
