'94 WG wire diagram
I got caught in a sprinkle on the way home yesterday and the pine pollen is insane here.. So, naturally, I decided to do a quick wash and dry. Since the wash, my lights dont work. Its happened before, but since I have rocker box gaskets leaking and the speedo cable broke(yea, its been a good week),I thought what better time to address it than today a nice sunny 70*F day... Oh well, now I have my tank on the bench and the "fuse" box loose so I can track the short down.. The "light" circuit breaker keeps tripping and I cant seem to fing the short. My next step is to swap the breaker with another one... Anyhow, thought I'd vent a bit before going back out there, maybe one of you guys has seen it before??
Thanks,
You've got a wire pinched somewhere, or a corroded connector (in the pull apart plastic block comnnectors) Unfortunately, sometimes you have to get your fingers and eyes on every inch of wire to find it.
Yea, I know you didn't want to hear that... but you already knew what you were facing. Maybe the neighbor has a cute daughter that would come over and be a cheerleader? I know, the Comedy Zone hasn't called in a while either.
Good luck on your deal, and don't give up till you find it, else you'll be like I was 3-4 times, side of the road - rain storm - wishing I'd be a bit more dilligent in the shed.
, figured that would make it easy.. I unplugged all the lights and modules, then started with the "wiggle test" on the harness.. Finally found the L/F turn signal wire was rubbing on the tree.. . Long story short, its fixed, with the tank and seat off it. Guess now I need to start the rocker boxes...Thanks for the support and sounding board..
