Default Follow-up to "A Different Kind of GPS Install"

Glad I didn't give up too soon, I kept playing with it and got it to the point where it looks good, is hidden when not in use, weather and vibration proof, and very visible.

Thanks mrsr71. It's been rainy and cold here all day, supposed to be tomorrow too, so I haven't been able to do a "road test" yet.

Ha! Good point. I figure that I'll test THAT when I happen to get caught...not necessarily on purpose! Too dang cold around here today to even think about riding.

i use suction cup mount on speedometer no vibration and can hear prompts

Where did you wire it to? Curious if it is hardwired or just plugged in so you can take it out and bring it with you or lock it up.
