I am removing the tour pack forward quick release setup and Corbin one up seat on my '03 Ultra Classic. I was forunate enough to get the original hardware, seat and brackets from the original owner.
I'm pretty sure I have everything figured out how it goes back together in the stock configuration eccept 2 parts that I have included in the photo. Would someone tell me where and how these parts mount. I think they have something to do with the rear intercom wire harness.
There is a spring inside of the long round part. I think the spring attaches to the back of the license plate mounting bracket.
The wrapped spring hooks onto the license plate holder & onto the two wire bundles on the LH side of the tour-pak (to sorta keep the wiring from flapping around in the wind I suppose?). The plastic pc on the LH side of your pic. mounts under the LH tour-pak speaker box (there should be a slit in the vinyl there) & holds the passenger intercom jack.
