Default fork grease zerk

If you were going to grease the forks, which way would you go...replace that friggin zerk to an angle one so my gun will fit, or just go and buy a new gun tip?

I replaced the grease-gun tip, as the 90° angle works better all-round for me.

I replaced my fitting on the steering head with a 90 degree fitting and use HD grease.

I replaced the Zerk on my '06 Road Glide with a 45 deg. Zerk.No point in buying a new tip when I had a Zerk.I used wheel bearing grease.

I also just bought a 90 degree adapter for the grease gun, and it worked perfect and made it very easy.

I replaced the fitting with a 45 deg fitting. That way I would be able to grease with any gun and not be limited to using one with a 90 deg. end. (Because I have a tendancy of losing things)

I just greased mine today with the straight fitting with no problem. I didnt think it would ever stop taking grease though. It took a good forty to fifty pumps before I started to see any grease comming out. I guess the factory missed and the dealer during the 1000 mile service.
