Default Road King vs. Street Glide??

I'm planning to trade for a larger bike in the Spring. Pretty much have narrowed it down to either a Road King or a Street Glide. Any thoughts here??

I ride at Road King here at work and I own a new Street Glide. For me, I prefer the Street Glide. I know alot of RK owners that are really happy with their bikes but the only reason I would buy a RK is because of the removeably windshield. Kinda neat I guess taking it off in the summer time but I don't know anyone that removes theirs regularly. Street Glide had everything I was looking for, looks, sound, comfort and most importantly......................a radio. The RK offers 3 out of 4 but I think the SG looks better

Don't know anything about the street glide, so I speak to the Road King. I like my Road King Classic, I haven't wanted for anything else since I got it in '04. I like the cruise control, the quick release windshield, the large leather wrapped plastic saddlebags, the handling, and the look with and without the windshield (though I rarely take mine off).

My unbiased opinion is to go with the Road King.

Street Glide for me. Lower center of gravity, radio, more chrome standard.

Streetglide is basically a RKCustom, with fairing/gauges/stereo and the coolest rear fender....easy choice for me!

Hey, you should have made this a poll. The winner gets to be your next bike. What do ya say?

It ain't called the KING for nothing. I love my RKC...and personally, I don't care for all the plastic on the front end of the glides. If i wanted fairings, I'd buy an Ultra.

Good idea, I'll do that afterwhile. Gotta run for now. Also I should point out the reasons I go back and forth between the bikes. Removeable windshield being one of those.

RoadKing. I rented an 06 SG this summer in Ohio and my hips hurt, hands went numb, the stock seat sucked, yatta yatta. But with different bars, grips, seat, and maybe adjusting the floorboards the SG could be a winner. Heck i did all that to the RoadKing so the comparison is not really valid. If you like both rides egually go for the one that looks the best to you, and or which one you can get the best deal on.
