I had both a rdkg classic and a street glide. problems with both bikes, dealers and moto co. dumped them all and bought a BMW. NEVER LOOKED BACK!
That's ironic. I've owned 3 new BMWs - including an '06 R1200GS that left me stranded beside the road with less than 600 miles on the odometer. Took me 3 weeks to get an appointment scheduled for its 600 mile service.
If you think that moving from Harley to BMW is going to get you a more reliable bike or better dealership service, you're in for an expensive surprise.
I looked at both before bought my s.g. , I chose the s.g. because I think if you are going to get touring bike you should get a true touring bike.The r.k. is not to me , just my opinion the winshield is cheep looking , no radio , guages , leather bags scratch up too easy, for basicly the same price I went with the s.g.
