Default Neutral Lite Problems

Hi
I am new here and my first post. Hope someone out there can help.
I own a 2007 Electric Glide Classic.
My Problem is that the green neutral lite (N) comes on when in gear. Has this happened to anyone else? Anybody fix it if so how ?
Thanks
Mark

I believe that I would seek an indy or a dealership to solve the problem.

Welcome to the forum… Not saying that this is what is wrong but it is the first thing I’d try, as it is fairly easy to do.

The neutral switch (located on the tranny) can collect debris causing problems. Sometimes just taking it out, cleaning and replacing can correct it. If that didn’t work I’d buy a new switch and if that didn’t do it I’d take it to the dealer and say, ‘Hey there is something wrong with my neutral indicator ‘:-)

Tighten it to 120-180 in-lbs

Neutral switch is not magnetic like the speedo sensor, so no debris. HD come out with new neutral switch to remedy problem. Get the new switch with the "A" suffix on P/N and you will be good.
