95 FXSTC Wont Fire
I have a 95 softail custom and at the end of last season I was ridding and my bike started to miss real bad almost like I was running out of fuel. Well it was not the fuel and it eventually quit and I had to push it home. Upon inspection I was getting fuel and no spark. I have a adjustable ignition module, and single fire coil. It appears that I do not have 12 volts to my coil. I have 3-4 volts. I replaced mine with a friends and it still would not fire, yet mine fired his bike. I am assuming that the coilis good. I cannot figure out why I do not have 12 volts to the coil and wonder if that is my problem. I have 12 volts at the run switch and start switch on my handle bars. The realy wierd thing is that if I unplug my ignition module and test the coil pin in the bike connector there it reads 12 volts, and at the coil. Now, when I plug it in the coil reads 3-4. I got a new module thinking it was bad becasue of this, and well they both do the same thing. Please help

I just graduated from American Motorcycle Institue in Daytona Beach FL. I'll look through my notes and handouts and see if I can figure something out. As I just got back home give me a few days and I'll see what I can come up with.
