I have a 90 FXSTC with no spark, Today I put a new coil and an ignition sensor and rotor in, marked the case to keep the same timing spot. I also have power to the coil and direct wired the ignition switch but still have no spark. Can someone help me out____Dave in PA___

 

Sounds like the same stuff I just went through. I ended up replacing the coil, Ignition module, and plug wires. Make sure the wires are 100% hooked up right to the coil. Make sure there is 12 Volts going to the coil also. A good trouble shooting trick I learned is, I made a jumper wire that went from the + terminal directly to the coil. Put a disconnect in the middle of it cause the bike won't shut off unless you disconnect it. I bought my bike used and had to redo a lot of "custom" work from the previous owner.
