The first day and night of the 93rd official Laconia Bike Week was a bit of a washout with rain reports keeping a lot of bikers away. Day two was a little better but chillier with temperature highs in the low 60s and day three was even better with more bikers rolling in than the previous days combined.

I rolled out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin late in the day on the road to Laconia, New Hampshire. My ride is a 2016 Harley-Davidson Ultra Low in Purple Fire/Blackberry Smoke with only six miles on the clock. I call her “Purple Rain.”
