BUILDUP A 1994 Harley-Davidson Softail Custom Project

Sometimes people take on builds on purpose. They go out, find a good project bike, and then take it home with them so that they can bring it back to life.

Other times people find themselves with a project on their hands, and they can choose to either pursue it or get rid of it.

HDForums member Kippie made the admirable call and decided to work with his 1994 Softail Custom to get it closer to where he wants it to be, and we’re glad to see that it is going well!

Kippie isn’t entirely sure what direction he wants to go with the ride just yet, but he’s still moving forward with it since it is, after all, quite needy.

So far he has dyed the worn tan leather seat to a rich black, and it definitely looks excellent! He is also about to rewire the ride since the wiring that it currently in place seems to be in rather awful shape. From there, he isn’t entirely sure yet what he’ll do.

Still, that doesn’t make us look forward to this build any less! Go stop by Kippie’s build thread and show your support!
