Turbocharged Harley Is King of the Road
Badass 2005 Road King Is Everything You want on Two Wheels– and it’s All Yours for $50,000
Some guys build their bikes to be fast, and others to be pretty. But if you want it all, this 2005 Road King certainly fits the bill. The subtle Lamborghini Balloon White paint doesn’t tone down the outrageousness that lies beneath, no matter how hard it tries. And if being the center of attention whenever you;re on the road is your idea of living the good life, then you’re in luck: This rad piece of machinery is for sale on eBay, and as of this writing, it’s going for $50,000.
Trust us, this Road King seems like a good value considering what has gone into building it. After all, you can’t hide a 30-inch wheel. All of the other requisite bagger mods are here as well, including the all Is Built to so important air ride suspension. However, there’s no windshield or other unnecessary stuff, just parts that make it look good and go fast.
And we really do mean go fast. Power comes from an H-D 120R motor with an S&S three-piece crank. You’ll need that added strength to deal with the 14 psi of boost coming from the Trask turbocharger. It’s enough to crank out a whopping 200+ horsepower, which is probably more than you’ll ever need on two wheels.
A Baker 6-speed transmission further ensures that you won’t blow anything up. Which is good, because you’ll want to hear the sweet sounds coming from the Screamin’ Eagle dual-exhaust over and over, from the comfy custom seat, of course. And when that gets old, the Kicker stereo is loud enough to cancel it out.
If you’re the type of person that doesn’t accept compromise, this 2005 Road King is right up your alley. With enough power to blow away almost everything on the road and the looks to kill, you won’t long for anything else.
If that sounds like music to your ears (much like that turbo 120), you’ll want to head on over to eBay and check it out, and maybe even put in a bid.
