H-D Security Siren Question
About 4 months ago I installed the H-D Smart Siren II on my 14 TK along with the Pager Receiver. Every now and then when I stop to get fuel, pull into garage, etc. with the FOB and pager in separate pockets, and the ignition turned off, the siren will give a short warning alarm. Then after a few seconds it gives the normal 2 chirps and is fine. Since the siren is so loud, it always scares me when it does that.
Anyone else notice the same thing?

Same here. Sure does scare some people. I just turn around & give them the idea it's from someone else. Like when you fart in a crowd & look at someone else & say 'Damn, your voice changed but your breath smell the same. LOL.

I find that if I walk up to the bike and jump on quickly it will do that. But if I walk up and it takes a few seconds before I get on its fine.

I was having the same problem. Even had the alarm go off when I turned the bike off once. I keep the fob in my windshield bag and have had trouble with the bike not recognizing the fob when I get on. Changed the battery in the fob as I suspected it was getting old and so far seems to be working better.
