Default Won't start after handlebar install

Well, I have installed 5 sets of bars over the last few years, and I have not had any problems until now. I have a 2020 Road Glide Limited. Everything is working fine, all switches do what they are supposed to do. My problem is now it won't start. The bike will crank over fine, it just will not start, and the headlight is acting like a strobe light. I am thinking I have a problem with the TBW twist grip, The wires came through somewhat easy so I am pretty sure I don't have a wire cut. I am thinking I have a pin in the wrong place but not sure how to make sure. I did remove the pins, but the 6 wires are 2 - red, 2-black, and 2- white, Is there a way to make sure I have them in the right place or does it matter? as long as they were replaced back in the same order?

Sounds like you either re pinned it wrong or your yellow wrapped harness is revered with the black harness from the sensor grip, hopefully you didn't drop that sensor, I have found them to be very fragile.

Did you remove the gas tank? If so, double-check your fuel connection and the electrical connection under the seat.

I don't think the TBW has anything to do with the bike cranking but not starting, but I could definitely be wrong.

it did not have the yellow wrap, it also does not the green plug anymore ... I would I have crossed something and only thing I know is to pull it back out which will shred the wires... thanks for the reply

Start by checking all of your connections. If you removed the pins from the connectors, perhaps one went back incorrectly. Simple continuity testing will also help you trouble shoot if you have a short or broken wire. Pulling the wires out of the bars is a last resort. You should be able to diagnose without removal. Maybe just one wire got mangled, easy enough to remove a single wire and replace with a new one. But I will bet pins in the connectors either not seated fully or swapped. Good luck,

Just in case, wiring diagram here - 94000729_1391526_en_US - 2020 Wiring Diagram Wall Chart | Harley-Davidson SIP (harley-davidson.com)

I guess you could put them in back to front so pin 1 is where pin 3 should go.

Check for any wire that got pinched and make sure when you were taking the control clip off from around the factory bars that you didn't damage the flat orange wire on the controls. Why did you de-pin the connectors? I did the bars on my 2020 RGS and all of the connectors were small 1/2" size that easily went through the bars. Probably the easiest bars I have ever done and like you I have done a lot of them. Do you hear the fuel pump activate when you turn it on? If you don't have fuel pressure the bike won't turn over.
