I've done 4 swaps on TBW bikes, I think the cutting and splicing is a crap shoot. Some are ok, some go down in flames. I always bought the TBW extension wires or the CVO TBW harness and never ever had one single issue doing this. One good tip I can give you when you use the stock wires WITH the green plug is to put a piece of shrink wrap over the whole plug after you make sure it is plugged securely to protect it when pullling
OK...after 2 days, I finally figured out my problem...I went and bought the screamin Eagle TBW kit....no green connector, its a straight shot, although the pins are male...need to be female...no big deal....spliced in the female plug/solder/shrink wrap...plugged it in...fired right up no issues! so....I began putting everything back together, checking as I went....as soon as you turn on the ignition...if the cruise light comes on...you have no throttle...so..bad solder joint? not....it's that stupid female molex connector! you wiggle that plug around and everything works...move the harness an inch...no throttle...Im going to take it to the dealer and have a new connector installed....this should be a warranty issue....in fact I think there was a TSB on it...other than that...everything looks good..I do know, I could do this in my sleep....for anyone doing this, here's a tip...use a chain for running your wires....I taped the bundle about every 4 in or so...and used some of the old lady's lube....they slid through like butter ...bars are sweet...also had to do a little grinding on the switch console and fairing...no big deal used a die grinder with a sanding wheel...oh, also....while you have the bike apart...be ready to pay attention to the clutch and brake lines...there are some zips that need to be cut to give you more length...its easier with the bars off than on....believe me...oh I am also using my stock heated grips, you'll have to extend this wire..it is not long enough...
I filled out the request form on Vindikta's web site early last week but have received no reply. Is that common? I've also tried calling several times always getting a recording.
Anyone got a part number handy for the CVO harness? I just called the dealer and they had no idea what I was talking about, all they found were extensions.

Thanks. I'm at the dealer now, they have two in stock. They aren't any longer than the factory tbw but at least that damn green switch is gone. On a side note, what are the two black and white wires for in the separate 2 pin connector coming from the throttle? The schematic call out says the white wire is "P&A power" and the black is "ground."
