2014 SGS A few weeks ago I installed V and H Power duels and SE intake and remapped using V and H FP3. Bike ran well but exhaust was rich to the smell, I hooked up my iphone5 but FP3 would longer Bluetooth to my phone. I borrowed a android phone it connected easly so I called Tech dept and was told to send FP back which I did last week. But to remove it V and H said I MUST restore stock MAP back in to ECM. What are you recommendations of riding bike with Stage 1 and stock Map ?? 70 DEGREE weekend coming up in New England and I dont want to miss it at the end of season
You could put 93 octane gas in and be easy with it. If you get any spark knock, don't ride it. It might be ok if you keep it in the upper RPM range but not certain, every bike is different. You have a lot more air in and need more fuel or fuel that will "hole up" longer before igniting.
If you were to do anything, I'd suggest putting the entire air cleaner assembly back to stock until you get a new tuner. It will be ok for short trips, but I wouldn't do a lot. Just my opinion.

Sounds like they are going to send you a new one , or by fixing yours it is going to have to be married to the bike again and if your stock map is not there it cant save it during the marry process.
You can run a stock map with your setup but it will be on the lean side. The ECM will adjust but the stock map has its limits as far as fuel ratio.
To be on the safe side you could put the stock air box back on, but a Rushmore Stock AC flows pretty good.
Me personally, I would run it like it is with the stock map.Cooler temps and good fuel would be ok.
thanks for the info !! I called V and H today and they think I will have it back by Friday, if not I will put stock AF back on . I hope to ride up to NH for the weekend
I had this same apple-chip problem. I shipped it, then called V+H with the shipping confirmation number. As soon as V+H could confirm shipment, they shipped a new unit back to me. It was a very excellent 2 day turnaround.
