Infotainment GPS route help needed

Infotainment GPS route help needed
I'm sure this may have been covered, but I'm on a riding vacation and have little time to do research, so thanks in advance for any help.
Problem - Created an 8 via-point/150 mile route on Mapsource. Converted from gdb to gpx and loaded the route onto a Fat 32 formatted 16 G stick. No problem locating the route - Navigation>More>Trips>USB>named route. But after that I'm not sure I'm activating it properly. What happens is the navigation skips all the via-points and sends me on it's own direct route to the last via-point.
Any help?

I'm not sure that I totally understand your question, but I'll try to answer...
First, I always import my routes onto the bike computer and run them from there. I've never tried accessing them from the USB stick.
Second, I've never had a problem with it missing a navigation point. I guess you'll know it pretty quick if it does. You can also zoom out on the map to see if it looks right.
Third, for long trips I always print out the map/directions as a "just in case". Also, I cary the old-fashion paper maps.
