I'm liking the stock air cleaner & if it will flow enough air for full pipes that's good enough for me, but I do keep thinking about the Screamin' Eagle Ventilator Performance Air Cleaner Kit-29490-09
Most stock air cleaners can and will flow enough air into a mildly reworked Harley engine,
like a de-catted head pipe, and mufflers, and air flow is not restricted. I am thinking
a K&N air filter in the stock air cleaner housing would be more then enough air flow for a
Stage 1.
I'm a slacker. Stock A/C because it allegedly flows better than the '13's, and a de-catted stock header. Two-Up with a weeks worth of gear it's got plenty of power. I'm determined to spend as little as possible on unnecessary upgrades...Guess I'm destined to have the slowest '14.....See you there!

As long as your enjoying the ride, I wouldn't worry about what people think of what you do or don't do to your bike. Ride & enjoy
Rdam is correct, when the Rushmore Hi output Bikes came out I did read that the new
air cleaner setup flowed 5 to 7 percent more air then the old style Football. I think it
was in the Hog magazine when the Rushmore's were debuted in the Hog write up. Also
K&N now makes a replacement air filter that fits inside the stock filter housing for $60.oo
Part number # HD1914, K&N says it will flow more air then the stock AC element also.
