I never thought I'd own an Ultra... thought a Heritage or maybe a Street Glide. Rode some older HD's, rented the SGS and loved it. Then I took a test drive on an Ultra Limited... bought it the next day. Like it more each time I ride it.

After a dozen jap bikes, 6 years of racing, 2 paid years of stunting. I bought a Harley. Fast forward to now. The ONLY 2 things I dont like? A non painted matched front vent, and no BLACK PEARL!!!
Other than that. This is my favorite Harley, and bike for that matter. I LOVE IT!
Happy 40th to me!

i have had mine since early August..and LOVE it...and i thought the haters were crazy...until this weekend,

we usually park our cars & spend the whole weekend on bike, a friend had a Condo rented down on Edisto Beach, and a buddy wanted to ride....so we put about 200 miles on it saturday

it drove me NUTZ....the weatherband CAME ON EVERYTIME we stopped....for crying out loud...good grief....every time you turn the bike on to let the radio boot up & normal up, theres this huge HISSING SOUND....and everyone is looking at you like WHAT....

and you realize it's not a tire losing air...it's the WB came on with no signal, just static.
i had it on FM, then on the $12 media stick, then on my cell phone, it still came on to WB with no signal.........arrrrrrrrgggggg

and OMG the rear air shocks...what a hateful joke the MOCO continues to play on us, mine must be leaking down. I had it in for the most recent recall, and forgot to tell them to replace the air lines.

so the ole lady got 200 miles of concrete expansion joints on her back side. she told me the next day she was MISERABLE over all the bumps.

i hate the air shocks, they are definitely the "worst" part of the bike, because the MOCO can fix the recalls, you can pull the fuse for the radio....but you gotta pony up some $$ for better shocks.

a buddy wanted to borrow it to ride Sunday, and i was going to pull the fuse for the radio, that's how annoying it was on Saturday.

Came off a wing after 15 years, enjoyed it, got bored sold it. Thought we were done riding, time to spend money and time on grand babies, After 2 years of not riding we really missed it, always wanted a Harley, never owned one. Bought a 2012 FLHTK and really loved the way it handled. Better riding in a bike than on top of a bike someone said.
Flash forward to August this year and took a cruise up to my HD dealer in Lapeer (Ray'C's) too see how they were progressing on new building. Now mind you,I was in No way no shape even thinking about another bike. Talked to salesman for about an hour on all the up grades to the 14 Ultra, took him a half hour to convince me to take it for a test ride. Momma said do what ya want but we don't need a newer bike. (Gulp!) (She sat on it and said it didn't feel as good as the 12) and I still wasn't thinking about it. He said you can't decide without taking one for a test ride. Relented, got back and the wife tells me let's do it! Best riding bike we ever felt, more comfortable for momma and we ALL know what that means. ;-)
Now we can't wait for the next opportunity to take it for another "test" ride, as I look at it out in my garage.
BEST Decision I've made on a bike hands down!

I came off of a 2011 Ultra Limited - when I say the new limited, it was the new radio and all of the upgrades that got my attention. Little did I know that I was seeing just the surface because once I got the bike and realized all it could do, I realized just how nice is was.

The mail slot - man, I really love it. The new headlights - talk about Night & Day. And I have ot add...not that my wife needs it..but the extra 1 inch wider and longer really gives her just a little more comfort.

Pepe3rd1.... if you see a bike running around like yours - it's me. We live in Lake Orion.
