Default Does your Seat rub the paint on your tank?

Here is my latest question. Does the stock seat on your 2014 or 15 touring bike rub the paint on your tank. Just had my seat off to install my new riders backrest and I see two spots where the seat is rubbing the paint off of my tank. This is on a 2014 Limited. I can't really do to the dealer and bitch as I had the seat pad reworked by a local guy. I want to know if anyone has seen this rub with their stock seat without alterations. I had the seat done about 1000 miles ago and I don't really remember any rubbing then.

Mine is wearing at the paint. It's normal for stock.

I knew mine would so I went by a shop that uses 3m Paint Protection film and got a scrap, cut it, and applied it to the tank.

Yep. Small piece of 3m film will do the trick. Fwiw, none of my Dynas or Softail had this minor problem...

Not to hijack, but for those of us who didn't put film on when new and have some rub marks, what is the best way to polish them out?
I changed to a Mustang solo, and now it shows some rubbing where the stock seat was.
