I-Phone 5 upgrade to IOS 8 tremedous problems
If you update your iphone 5 to ios 8 you will not be able to plug your phone into cable with out problems....
There is a compatablilty issue your phone and music will not work properly
It will try to read, it will freeze, you will not recieve calls, or advance songs, it continually trys to read but will NOT work properly.

My friend's iPhone 5 with software version 8.0.2 works correctly on my bike, as does my iPhone 6 Plus with 8.0.2. No issues with anything here....

Maybe the OP was reaching out for an answer as to why it does that. Maybe he didn't word it correctly. Always 1 on each thread that has to be negative. Great post Highwayman, that contributed nothing. Just sayin.
