Default Another satisified Jackpot owner

Morning Folks,

I've been following the reviews of Fuel Moto a few years and especially more so since getting the new King end of June. I deliberated over Jackpot, Rush and RCX long and hard (ran supertrapp 2-1 disc on previous bike).
So I committed to go with the Jackpot slash ups then ordered on monday and installed them last night. Very pleased with the deep tone, mildly aggressive note on acceleration and quiet cruise on the highway. It was an enjoyable ride in to work today.

(not the best lighting but a comment without sharing a pic is worthless right)

Next in the future AC and tuner perhaps though in all honesty I'm happy with the performance as is. Though I'll mention that Fuel Moto agreed when I inquired the FP3 was a good choice for my interest in only stage one mods.

Are you still running stock headers? I ask because I installed the Jackpot 2-1-2 header the same time I installed the Jackpot mufflers and I wouldn't call them quiet on the highway. A nice deep rumble that sounds great and still let's me listen to music if I desire.

Yep, forgot to add all stock for now except slip-ons thus the quiet. For commuting and touring I just don't want loud. If I were to change headers (mainly for heat which has not been overly bad though the wife's shin begs to differ on 90+ degree day rides) I think I would try the quiet baffle if too loud. I've only heard videos with the open headers and it didn't sound too bad at cruise but definitely louder.
I really loved my old 2-1 Supertrapp for quiet power and good sound and for a moment considered the new Jackpot E-series but just didnt feel for my needs the $ was the investment I wanted.

I've been thinking of ordering a set of Jacpot slip ons lately, and thought I decided on slash downs, but seeing your pictures of the slash ups sure look nice the way they line up with the angle of the bags looks great might have to rethink it..

I've never been a fan of the slash downs as they just seem to go against the lines at the rear of the bike. When using slash cut muflflers, I've always went with the slash ups for that reason. JMO

I installed the jackpot 2-1-2 ceramic header using the stock mufflers and I love it. A lot louder than with the cat but still muffled.

I concur.

The slash downs to me look odd...

ESPECIALLY when a fella is running extended bags and fender.

But everyone is different.

Appreciate the thread guys. I'm about to pull the trigger on a similar set up for my 2014 RK. The slash ups look nice...so thanks for posting the pic. Probably going with stock header, Jackpot 4" slash up, FM AC and a tuner...if $ allows the PV-2. Been thinking of adding the FM 2-1-2 ceramic coated header, but having trouble deciding. Concerned it'll be way too loud for the missus when we 2-up.
